I know we had eight more innings to get it done but the tone or lack of was set in the bottom half of the first inning tonight. Their pitcher three five straight balls to start the frame, so what did we do? Swung at pitch six and grounded into a DP.

Why not be patient right there with the pitcher struggling. He walked two more batters after the DP then a weak foul out to first. Ballgame, IMO.
