This Ole Miss team, in a vacuum, does not deserve to make to the playoffs. Period. We did not win a single one possession game. A very frontrunner group
HOWEVER. In the grand scheme of CFB and how unbalanced the structure is- the SEC is getting royally f’d.
In no world should Iowa St be getting a bye. I’d take 13 SEC teams vs them. Boise State skated by 2-8 Wyoming last night. And they are win and in. Indiana played 1 school with a pulse and got mauled. SMU lost to the 1 ranked team they played.Penn St has only played 2 ranked teams. Miami’s best win was a 6-5 Florida team that was lost in September
Sankey has to be hearing it from league members. Part of me wonders if he agreed to this temporary structure to set the table to leave. The break away has to happen. NFC AFC style with the Big Ten. Tell them to come along or wave goodbye as we do our own thing.
