Wife and I just decided to go to the south of France this summer and looking for ideas. She has been before, I have not.
She loved Nice and Montpelier, but after that she is open to other spots. We do not plan on going to Paris at all this trip.
We have also tossed around the idea of ending the trip in Lyon / Burgundy.
Any good tips? Places to go? We are in our late 30’s, will be without kids, and prefer good food and wine where we can hear each other talk vs a clubby beach bar /
