Here's Monday's thread:

With Chris Vizzina off the board (Clemson), Ole Miss is turning up the heat on Jaden Rashada and Marcel Reed. Rashada is headed to Arkansas this weekend for an official visit. Ole Miss is trying to get Rashada and/or Reed to Ole Miss on April 22 for the Grove Bowl weekend. Bottom line: Ole Miss likes both quarterbacks and wants one. I expect the commitment of Vizzina to Clemson to speed up the push for a commitment. That said, Miami and Arkansas are very viable threats to Ole Miss for Rashada, and there are other schools in the mix as well. Arkansas and, at least to some extent, Vanderbilt are threats for Reed. Reed was in Fayetteville last weekend and is working to set up an official visit with the Razorbacks as well. He really likes Arkansas OC Kendall Briles.

At least one person told me today he wouldn't be surprised if Arch Manning is at the Grove Bowl. That was the first I've heard of that, and frankly, I'm not sure I buy that at this point. Personally, I believe Texas and Alabama lead for Manning right now. I believe Georgia is third and Ole Miss is fourth. Maybe I'm way off, but I believe Ole Miss believes something similar.

Ole Miss wants to sign a quarterback in this class. There are others they are evaluating and could get involved in if it comes to that, but I think Rashada and Reed are priorities as of now.

Rivals250 DE Jamarious Brown is on the Ole Miss campus today. He arrived Monday night. I'm told the visit is going very well.
