Smithville, Ms
So is there any high ranking Tupelo officials on here that can give a local down town business an explanation of what the city is doing to curtail the rising homeless issue.
Tupelo is such a great small big town with great culture and small businesses.
Can the city not move the Salvation Army location to let’s say….south Tupelo where all the car dealerships and mobile home dealerships are?
I mean, it’s crazy the stuff I have to deal with on a daily basis with some of these people.
They sleep in my dumpster, sometimes naked. Rip my garbage bags open. Break open my electrical socket for power. I had one lady literally make a home from one of my pallets outside the store. Solicit my customers, steal food, and try to use my restrooms like a truck stop. I literally have to keep my restrooms closed off.
I bet if all the people were camping downtown by the courthouses and banks it would be a different story.
I guess Tupelo will become just another trash dem city with homeless crackheads running around. Shame it’s happening after all the revamping Tupelo has done.
Sorry for my rant of the day.
