they made the screwed up decision to close the entrance to the Grove/Circle (crossing the bridge at Old Taylor and University) at 7:45AM instead of at the announced time of 8AM. This may not seem like a big deal but it was a nightmare for dozens of cars waiting to get access to drop off for their tailgate.
When I asked the UPD officer why didn’t they follow what had been posted literally all week (8AM), I was told to quit bothering them.
It’s hard enough for my family to pull this off numerous weekends during the season, but when university officials/law enforcement pull a move like this, it makes me wonder is this really worth it - my couch and tv might be a better option.
