One day game against the Brewers and then again tonight versus the Nationals. My observations:
1) That ballpark is awesome. I love the classics (Fenway is my #1), but man, they do such a great job with production, and entertainment. The site lines, weather, and skyline behind the stadium is hard to beat.
2) Had my 7 year old with me. I haven’t watched MLB in years but I’m back in because he is in. The pitch clock stuff has really done wonders for the Watchability of the product.
3) MLB might be the third or 4th sport as far as tv ratings goes, but baseball is far from dead. San Diego is obviously a melting pot, but I saw kids of all ethnicities and multiple generations having a great time. It was awesome to see.
Baseball was my first love. For you dads- it sure is fun to take in a game with your boy isn’t it?
