We are now into July, Ole Miss' recruiting class is the worst in the West

11th place, yet Ole Miss is 6th in avg star rating on 10 commits (4 of which are 4*), within the conference. Auburn has only 9 commits and Florida 10. The Ole Miss investigation must be impacting them, too. Ole Miss is in a good position with at least 3 more 4 star players.

I never said that the NCAA investigation was why Ole Miss' recruiting is suddenly down.
I would never waste my time trying to prove why to you cause you are a homer. Those of us that don't have brain damage and can look at this objectively can form our own opinions as to why.

This year...Ole Miss being exposed paying players is constantly in the news, NCAA updates, NOAs left and right, and suddenly....Ole Miss' recruiting sucks.

Are we forgetting the recruits that signed such as Greg Little, Patterson, Tre Nixon and so on this past this Feb. when OM ended up about 10th in the nation? Sounds good to me.

We'll finish in the top 10. We have two 5 stars that will be coming in. I think the investigation is keeping some recruits at bay till it settles out. A bowl ban could have an impact. How we fare during the season will have the biggest impact. Nervous? I never thought I'd see Alabama fans scared of Ole Miss but that is just what is happening.
So far Ole Miss hasn't won or accomplished anything under Freeze, so until that changes, no one is nervous.
Ole Miss has been it's own worse enemy for the past 50 years. We've had poor administration during most of that time. Our Chancellors didn't give a hoot about athletics so they hired AD's who would keep the program in the black and that's about it. We fell way behind in facilities. The fans have no one to blame but themselves. The hiring of Bjork and Freeze turned this thing around.

Ranch certainly brings his own unique perspective. Most of that perspective is based on opinion rather than fact, but it's interesting nonetheless. When he does use facts he tends to distort them like when he said OM was favored over Bama last year (LOL).
It helped many schools in the SEC but Bjork also increased the giving. Boone and Khayat had just about shut that down. No one trusted them. Three members of Nationwide Rebels met with Dan Jones right after he became Chancellor and told him never to have a fund raiser with academics and athletics combined because no one trusted the money intended for athletics to go to athletics. Jones did that with the Forward Together Campaign. But even that campaign was lagging until Bjork came in.
Well, when the head of the NCAA is the best friend of your head coach it helps to stay out of trouble. DJ Fluker admitted he was paid while he played but that gets left alone. Bama is the worst cheater in football. Sooner or later a disgruntled agent, step father, or player will speak out. A disgruntled agent got Bama in trouble once before. Remember the $200 table napkin contract?
Just because I don't post backup facts doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. Some people have better things to do than play on a message board all day. Are you a stock broker? That would explain why you are on a message board so much. I had an Edward Jones stock broker that lost $200,000 for me and he was on message boards all day. Every time we met all he wanted to talk about was recruiting. There are dozens and dozens of power polls and casino point spreads and I don't keep up with them as apparently you do. After the first couple of games those spreads will all change. If we beat Florida State you'll see a big shift in those point spreads. If they beat us soundly it might go the other way. Last year before the Bama game Ole Miss was coming off two wins and scoring 70 plus points in those two wins. It would not surprise me if we were favored in some of those power polls last year. Quite frankly to prove my point would require me to take a snapshot of those polls before each game and I certainly am not going to spend time doing that just to prove a point to some Tide fanatic on a message board.

All of that is great but it doesn't address the question I asked you. You claimed that Freeze and Bjork are turning Ole Miss football around. All they've done of significance is get Ole Miss football under a massive NCAA investigation and soon-to-be massive NCAA probation.
I don't think anyone in the SEC is scared of that type of 'turnaround' in Oxford.
Actually, when you can't back up your "facts" with evidence it does mean you're mistaken bro. Feel free to find a link to disprove what I've already said. You can't because you were wrong.
A "power poll"? You can't be serious. Anyone can make up a "power poll". Hell you could make up "ranchreb power poll" and just cite it as fact if you want. These "power polls " have one distinct difference between Vegas and that is that the "power polls" don't have to back up their claims with money. Therefore, they're irrelevant in determining the point spread of a game.

I sincerely hope that he's just a turd broker and not a stock broker. If I ever found out that my stock broker was playing on Internet message boards as much as this poor fellow, I would dump his ass.
