They are sinking like a one egg pudding. Lost coach, losing commits. What's next?

Must wait till some of their current players transfer to Florida. Later they’ll have to forfeit all the games Lewis played.

Lewis had that look in his eye at the egg bowl like the cat that ate the canary. I have no info but, in the end he will regret the guidance he got.

Back when I was younger they would call blindside a pecker head. That is just about
what he is . a good old pecker head.

The Rivals team recruiting rankings are based upon total points. Thus, basic mathematics establishes that more signees equals more points.

A more accurate way of ranking classes would be by average star value or quality of individual players. As of noon, 12/21/17, OM had signed 16 with an average star ranking of 3.25. They are ranked 46 in total points but there are 24 schools ahead of them in total points with less than a 3.25 average star ranking. Included in those 24 is MSU. So technically speaking in one important ranking, quality of individual players, OM is already ahead of MSU.

The encouraging thing about OM's recruiting is that they still have room to add 7 or 8 additional signees on 2/7/18 whereas MSU with 21 signees is close to being done. (The total number of scholarship athletes may not exceed 85 as of 8/18. For OM, that number is 81 due to NCAA limitations which end with this class).
Taking into consideration where OM was just prior to the Egg Bowl win and where they ended up on the first day of early signing, there is nothing to do but tip one's cap to the OM coaching staff.

Not quite. Rivals does count total points, but only for the 20 best signees in each class. All points are counted for all signees UNTIL you reach 21 signees. At that point, the points you got for the lowest ranked signee are first REMOVED and then the points you got for the 21st signee are added. If it turns out that the 21st signee has the lowest point total, then you get no points for him.

This continues for each signee after you have 20.

Even better. Counting total points for only the 20 best signees will benefit schools, e.g., Ole Miss, that do not have the full 25 allotment to give. Ole Miss will add at least 4 or 5 recruits on 2/7/18. Assuming they maintain the current 3.25 average star per signee, Ole Miss will likely move into the top 25 final rankings.

Pecker Head: And what was that Egg Bowl score again?

Ole Miss likely wouldn't make the Top 25 if no other team signed any more kids and only Ole Miss did.

Rebels are looking at finishing between #35-40. #30 is your ceiling, #40 is about the worst you'll end up.

With the 4 or 5 more 4 stars that we will sign, we are looking at a 20 to 25 finish.

Current rankings have Miss State at #19 and Ole Miss at #41. No idea why you guys are claiming OM is #35 because they clearly are not.

#21 - Miss State
#71 - Ole Miss

Yeah, you've almost caught them....keep pushing!
The CERTIFIED OLE MISS TROLL doesn't seem to have gotten the memo that things are FAST changing. He is yet to prove that he can interpret that things are ongoing. I believe it's its lack of common sense that limits it.

Let's make a bet! If I win you leave and never come back. How much do I owe if you win?

Zreb I like your bet. However, it is unrealistic to expect the greatest CERTIFIED OLE MISS TROLL in the history of the universe to just cold turkey stop posting on this OLE MISS site. His hate is so great for Ole Miss that being unable to post his junk here would kill him. He appears to be weak brained and unstable already. I believe it might cause further psychological damage that would lead to FULL brain paralysis. I believe there is a chance he would fall over and go to Redneck Hell.

The post you quoted was 12 days old. Try to keep up.
