The Arkansas ace was a big name in last year's draft but so was the number requested, so he's back for his junior season. He has a 1.83 ERA and .210 BAA through six starts. He struck out 10 and gave up three runs to Florida last week. He has 35 strikeouts and 9 walks in 34.1 innings. The 6.2 innings against Florida were a season high, and he's averaging fewer than six innings per start, so you can get to the Arkansas bullpen.

The 6-foot-3, 170-pound right-hander throws from the first base side of the rubber with a long, loose action. The fastball is going to sit around 92 or 93 and bump up to 95 most likely. It has really good arm side run and sink. Check out the video below, especially around the minute mark, to see the late running action on his fastball. It's a big time pitch that can miss bats and cause weak contact.

The slider is also plus and will be in the low to lower-mid 80s. He'll throw it for a strike and use it as a strikeout pitch outside the zone. The changeup is pretty consistent, too. It'll be around the same speed as the slider except look like a fastball out of his hand with the same type of diving action. Everything slices, dives and moves out of his hand. He'll also flash this loopy breaking ball thing occasionally. Nothing major but it's there and needs to be let go unless he leaves it up and spinning.

Ole Miss has actually gotten to him in the past. He's allowed 10 hits and five runs in 11.1 innings during his career against the Rebels. But he's also struck out 16 and walked three Ole Miss hitters.
