I never heard why he went to the hospital and what his non life threatening issue was.

Can anyone elaborate??

And is he expected to play in the Sugar bowl?

No one can elaborate. He is unlikely to play in the Sugar Bowl per Coach Freeze.

I read on another blog (pure speculation mind you) that Denzel had--possibly--attempted suicide. IF that indeed is what happened, I hope he has resolved whatever issue precipitated it. He helped the defense more than he'll ever know. In his first year as a Rebel, he was THE most vocal leader for the "D" on and off the field.
We'll miss him for sure.

TRULY hope that's not the case, and that he's OK. Wow, strange case. Went on LSU and TAM's sports boards, and they speculated attempted suicide and were very sympathetic.

Report from WAPT TV in Jackson says Denzel was rushed to the hospital near Ridgeland, MS. He was unresponsive to paramedics when they arrived. This is serious, folks!
