Long story short, we had someone resign in an adjacent region and I got a few of their accounts to work on to help in a very important time. I’ve been in my industry for four years and while I’m still very much in the learning phase, this feels like a step beyond an opportunity to learn. My book of business was already fairly complex, but the addition of two very high touch accounts has me feeling pretty stressed. I’m not afraid of hard work, but quite frankly, I feel like I’m not paid enough. Just one month ago, I felt like my pay was fair, but my workload has increased dramatically and I am wondering how/if to broach this topic with my superiors.
