They’re a solid team but why does Neal keep talking about them like they’re awesome? He literally used the term “title contender” and “final 4” on the pod the other day. Even suggested that Jans may be a coach who wouldn’t sign up for 11-7 in the SEC if you offered it to him today.
I get it … they’re 14-1 (2-0). 16th in KP. But what have they done to warrant the high praise?
They’ve struggled with McNeese, Praire View, and lost to a bad Butler team. Their other “big” wins are Utah, UNLV, SMU, South Carolina, and Vandy … all very meh/kinda suck.
Their claim to fame so far is whipping a meh Pitt team and a pretty good Memphis team on the road. Again… good for them. They’re a solid team. But Final 4?! Title contender?!
