For whatever reason, the visiting team just never travels well to this game anymore. I don't know if it's the holiday weekend or just the notion that the visiting team generally gets beat. My guess is that its the latter. I've had some really bad experiences in Starkville and have said numerous times that I'd never go back. I'm not so sure that I don't eat those words this year. If Ole Miss has the kind of season that I think its capable of having and State stumbles a bit we could potentially steal one. We will certainly have the defense that it takes to win on the road in the SEC. We had it 2 years ago down there.....we just went full blown Cutcliffe on the play calling offensively. I honestly don't know what State fans would do if they lost serve at home.
