With the early signing period just two days away, let's start with basketball.
Ole Miss will sign four players this period:
F/C Rodney Howard
F Sammy Hunter
F Antavion "Dude" Collum
G Bryce Williams
Ole Miss would have obviously loved to have signed both (or either one) of F Chandler Lawson or F D.J. Jeffries.
Jeffries is committed to Memphis, and Lawson remains uncommitted at this time, but Ole Miss is not expected to be a factor when he does choose as of this morning.
Kermit Davis and Co. will go into the late period with a need at PG, and they've got a plan in place of who they are going after besides that, as well.
Daytona State's Khadim Sy and Doudou Gueye are two primary targets.
