Someone correct me if I’m wrong

But an angle on the whole “should South Carolina jump Ole Miss/Bama” debate I haven’t seen mentioned much.

When it pertains to Ole Miss specifically, IF you destroy State, USC beats Clemson and Texas beats Texas A&M, that rewards Carolina with a top 15 win but takes one away as A&M would fall out completely.

Ole Miss, who not only has the head to head, would then secure two top 12 wins vs their only one quality win (Clemson)

Now of course, you would need more chaos to make the playoff. Ideally, Brother Hugh pulling off the unthinkable (and more to remove all doubt) but I don’t see how you could justify Carolina jumping them if those two games play out that way.

What are the top 12 football programs?

Slow Thanksgiving Eve.
Got to talking to a couple coworkers and clients today about the state of college football. One is an Alabama fan, one is an Ohio state fan and another is a Wisconsin fan…

We started talking about how the new playoff model is flawed but that it makes the regular season feel more important late in the year.

That led to programs that are considered “top 12 programs ” or “top 12 jobs in this era”, etc.
pretty interested in the lists that were created.

But we kinda agreed on all of these teams.
Really no order of these… more like tiers but anyways…

Tier 1:
Texas
Alabama
Georgia
Ohio State
Tier 2:
LSU
Oregon
Penn State
Ole miss
Tier 3:
Michigan
Miami
Notre Dame
Tennessee

Honorable mentions: Clemson, Texas A&M, Florida State (I just think this season is unrecoverable next year. Gonna take some time).

Coordinated NIL campaign

Obviously, not right now…but is there a reason we don’t do a drive for 25…Get the crack staff at the video department to make some video about getting knocked down and getting back up (or at least a drive to defeat KY). Or some “they don’t think you belong. They don’t think you can do this” type video with laughing and smiling LSU, KY and FL fans.

The ONLY WAY to redeem this chode of a season is to re-****ing-load. I’ve accepted ‘24 and now ready to turn to ‘25.

Let's turn the page on Lockhart/State

When you look at the overall landscape, they aren't any better as a football team as they were 3 days ago. They desparately needed D-Line, and they signed 2 kids that no other SEC schools would even think about signing. They are retaining their DC who is hilariously in over his head. They are at their lowest point as a football program, arguably ever, with no real path to climbing up.

Let's let Roseblow and their twitter trolls have this "moment" while we get ready to attack the portal and re-load our roster.
