Chase, when you write your book on this Championship season, a whole chapter should be about Austin Simmons’ TD Drive of the MILLENNIUM.

That was some John Wayne shit right out of a movie. I know the kid is talented and physically gifted but to come off the bench and stare down that defense, in the rain, on that stage, with our backs against the wall, in front of 70,000 panicked fans is what dreams are made of. The defense may have deserved the game ball but I hope they put a bow on it and hand it to Simmons today bc that drive literally saved our season. Just incredible.

If this model for playoffs remains more interleague games are needed

Make the power 4 all go to 8 conference games, (I would actually allow some of the rivalry games like Clemson-USC Georgia-GT Florida-Florida State to count as a conference game, 1 game against whoever FCS or whoever you would like, 3 games against the other power 4 teams, 1 from each league, perhaps set up randomly or based on the previous year’s record,, however one game , the final game after rivalry week, to be a swing game matched according to playoff rankings, the conference to conference matchup would have to be set before of course, but say if Ole Miss was to play an Acc team in the swing game, it would likely be Ole Miss at Miami in what might be a playin game, if South Carolina had a Big 10 match it might be at Indiana, thus with the iterleague play the strength of teams would be more measured,, probably too complicated for the NCAA to handle but more game comparison is needed.
