NFL betting approach

Been betting first half winner parlays and fading the horrible teams in the league. The first half winner doesn’t have a line. Combine 3 of those and the payout is over +200.

Last week
Ravens over giants
Chiefs over browns
Vikings over bears

This week, some of the crap teams play each other so not as many easy opps available

Lions over bears
Bills over patriots
Rams over jets (not as sure about this one)
Payout is +207 on fanduel

what plays y’all got ? Other than straight up games ?

Here's the thread from the weekend, in case you need to catch up:

Signing Day is Wednesday. I don't think there's a ton of guys we're waiting on. There could be some surprises, I suppose, but to my knowledge, these are the guys there's drama on:

-- The Auburn commitment visited Ole Miss over the weekend. He's been back and forth between Auburn and Oxford since de-committing to Notre Dame. Ole Miss sources are confident but it feels very close.

-- The Texas running back will announce his decision Tuesday. I believe he'll commit to Ole Miss.

-- The Kissimmee, Fla., lineman has been committed to Arkansas. I believe he will flip to Ole Miss and sign with the Rebels, but I don't have that on any authority.

-- The Winona linebacker is committed to Mississippi State, but he visited Ole Miss over the weekend. It could go either way, but Ole Miss sources are confident.

-- The Laurel product had been rumored to flip to Ole Miss weeks ago, but those rumors have died down. I expect Miller to stick with LSU.

-- The Tupelo product has a state championship game to play Thursday, but it's possible he makes some headlines Wednesday with a flip to Alabama. Ole Miss is trying to hold him.

-- The Alabaster, Ala., linebacker had been rumored to be close to flipping to Ole Miss a month ago. That noise has quieted since then. I expect he'll sign with Auburn, but nothing in recruiting is particularly shocking these days.

-- The Venice, Fla., standout is believed to be down to Ole Miss and Indiana. His name gets a lot of media buzz, but I don't hear a lot about it. We'll see.

Here's the thread from the weekend, in case you missed it:

First, as you likely saw yesterday, Luke Matheson has joined our staff to help with recruiting coverage. He's excellent and will be a major help. Luke covers Arkansas State, so he won't be solely focused on Ole Miss. I'll still be doing my best to lead the coverage, but this can't be a one-man job.

I'm out of pocket most of day and will be tied up with a couple of meetings and then driving. That said, I think today's just going to be a ridiculously silly cavalcade of players entering the portal. I doubt if there are any major decisions made today. Today is just the first official day of bidding, when the bids made in the tampering portal can become official. You know most of the names already from the transfer portal thread. Here are a few that I think you'll see Ole Miss involved in:

This is not an exclusive list, so there's no reason to do a bunch of what-about questions.

Charlotte OL PJ Wilkins
North Carolina LB Amare Campbell

Syracuse CB Marcellus Barnes Jr.

Georgia Tech WR Eric Singleton Jr.

South Alabama RB Fluff Boutwell

Arkansas TE Luke Hasz

Arkansas OG Patrick Kutas

Lots more to come, obviously. Again, today is just going to be names. I expect you'll see visits begin middle of the week and into the weekend and continue until close to Christmas. My guess is Ole Miss will work some visits around some bowl practices. I don't know when those begin. Kiffin is supposed to do some sort of Taxslayer Bowl press conference tomorrow, I think.

RECRUITING: Coverage note

We're going to have continuous recruiting/portal coverage, but starting today, it might get a little sporadic.

I've got high school soccer today at 5 in Southaven, so around 3 or so, I'm going to be out of pocket for most of the rest of the day. My brother arrives tomorrow, etc. I'll keep checking with sources and will have daily updates, but if we're bad late on something, I apologize in advance.

Chase is around as well, but he's got stuff going on also, so while we'll try to cover for one another, there are going to be some lapses, I suspect.

Ole Miss has guys coming in this weekend. The quiet period begins Sunday at midnight, but there will still be negotiations ongoing, so commitments could occur.

The portal closes on Dec. 28, but players on teams still playing have five days after their team's season is finished to get into the portal. Ole Miss is watching for several of those players, per sources.
