“Revenue” Sharing

I’ve got an honest question based on simple facts. The argument for years has been that college athletics brings in so much money that it ought to be shared with the kids that actually play the game and provide the “product” so to speak. Now that the time has come to share the “revenue,” we have to gouge the fanbase to raise money to generate the “revenue”? We’ve already been suckered into paying for NIL (if you can call it that with a straight face). Now, we’re going to be counted on to pay for the “revenue” the players are apparently entitled to? If it’s actually revenue sharing, shouldn’t it come from, oh I don’t know, REVENUE? Like the TV/Ticket/Concession/Merch money? If you’re gouging fans for more money, are you actually sharing the revenue? Short answer obviously, no. It’s not even subtle. Am I the only one sick of this shit?
