This isn't a negative thing, `cause brother, I'll happily take a win at Bama by hook, crook, fair or foul and sleep like a baby, but does everyone realize just how difficult that is to do? The odds against Bama even being remotely close?
I want to watch the whole game again, (And I will) but here's what I've come up with:
Depth.
Our starting 22-25 is basically as good as the Tide. Possibly better as a complete group, though that's certainly arguable. But once it got to the 2nd half and Bama started going 2 min offense and we had to start deep subbing, our defense was damn near toast. They were wiped out and Bama started pounding the line and scoring almost at will.
We're closer, but depth wise were still not in the same league with Bama and a few others who recruit top5 classes virtually every year.
Anyway, that's my take. Open to any others.
