Betting on Baseball..

Reports of the MLB umpire being disciplined for “a potential violation of MLB’s sports betting policies.”… got me to wondering..

What would be the most serious breech of a gambling policy?

1) A player(s) on the take?

2) A manager placing bets?

or

3) An umpire who places bets?

I’d have to give the edge to the umpire as he can have an influence on any pitch or play..
