Im not telling you anything most don't already know, but maybe Blevins left on his accord. Maybe, he felt he was asked to cover something and report in a way that wasn't what he wanted to do. In the end, he will be better off away from that situation.
That newspaper has been dying a slow death for 5 years now. At what point do they go to a weekend newspaper? This whole "selling socially" through Twitter, ect...doesn't make them a dime. Can't tell you how many times I have clicked and it says "this is your last free article to view" before I will need a subscription.
There are times to jump from one company to another, and if I was at the CL, I would jump now.
