Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We relocated here in January of this year. I enjoy fishing (mainly largemouth bass), and I typically use the local neighborhood ponds here in The Woodlands. Is anyone here familiar with public lakes and ponds that are within 30 minutes or so from Spring / Conroe / Tomball area? I went to Lake Conroe and I don’t see it as convenient at all! I was hoping it had flat, large banks like Ross Barnett in the Jackson, MS area, but I was wrong.
