Here are the week 3 stats for players that transferred out from last year's team and a couple that left in December.
I understand Liam Doyle's decision. He had concerns about run support if he stayed and Joel Mangrum has just been hired in mid-June. Tenn. offered more money, run support was already established and they had Frank Anderson on staff already as pitching coach. This is his final season prior to the draft, so he put himself in the position that would allow for the most success. He is their ace and has been very successful in the early season.
Fisher - straight up mercenary. Took the money and ran and then actively recruited Doyle and possibly others.
Wes Mendes - wished he would have given Mangrum a chance, but FSU is closer to home and he is the Sunday starter.
Drew Markle - coaches wanted him to stay and be in the OF, however he wanted to play SS. He seems to have found a great spot and is having success.
Treyson Hughes - did not play this weekend. Not sure if this an injury situation.
Kramer is an everyday starter in LF at App State. We shall see as the competition gets tougher.
Seth Farni - He did not play Sat or Sun. Not sure if this is him cooling off at the plate or an injury.
JT Quinn - UGA is trying to make him the Sun. starter, but little success at this point.
Trenton Lyons is buried in OF and has not seen the field as yet.
