Chris Beard is a fascinating dude. His brain works at a level that will not allow him to accept anything but the best. I roll my eyes sometimes when guys give coach speak about a myriad of things. Beard gives nothing but coach speak but he’s 1,000% genuine. I’d be interested to hear if Neal or Chase have ever covered a coach as laser focused on their craft. He’s different. Top 5 coach in college basketball in Oxford… enjoy it.
That’s the second interview I’ve listened to where someone asked how he likes to try and unwind after a game. He basically says that winning is more a relief than anything else. The only way Beard ends the season happy is if they win their final game.
