Ole Miss has grit – Speaking of that series, Ole Miss once again found a way to scratch and claw its way to a hard-fought series win, and that’s meant as a sincere compliment, because that’s life in the SEC. Nobody just cruises through conference play in this league and the difference between being a host and being a bubble team is often a handful of narrow wins where one team just made one more play than the other. The Rebels’ last four SEC wins—two against Florida last weekend and two this weekend against Kentucky—have each come by one or two runs. Winning is a skill and it’s one Ole Miss seems to have this season in a way it didn’t necessarily the last two seasons.
