Due to the transfer portal window and playoff timing, a school looking for a coach basically cannot wait for a playoff coach to finish their season in order to hire said coach. UF would get destroyed in the transfer portal. The only way to do it is fire Napier after the playoffs and go after Kiffin then. Even then, I don't think he's going anywhere outside a top 3 or 4 college job or maybe the NFL. He'd rather go to the playoffs over everything else so incentives are aligned. Let's just win!
If we make the playoffs, pretty sure the Kiffin / UF rumors die off
