I know Neal has mention several times that lack of access is the new norm for fall practice. I happened to notice today that Tennessee had 40,000 attendees and South Carolina 2,500 at their scrimmages. I completely understand why limited access makes sense, but curious if Ole Miss is maybe being more stringent that other SEC schools? Unless I missed it, I don't believe we have any scrimmages open to the public. I personally am fine with the head coach making that decision, but curious if most schools maybe at least hold one public scrimmage. Does anyone know if Alabama, LSU, Georgia, etc. have any open practices? Again, not complaining, just curious.
Going though some game recordings tonight and watching the Texas A&M game from last year. We really played well coming off such an emotional win versus Alabama. We are a very good football team and will be again this year. Ultimately, QB and OL play will determine our fate. If we can build a somewhat respectable running game and limit turnovers, we will be there at the end. Great defenses and efficient offenses win championships. We absolutely have the chance to be both.
