Need some advice from an Ortho or anyone who’s experienced tennis elbow.

I’m seeing some mixed opinions on the cortisone shot. Some say it prevents healing, probably because you start back using it as soon as the pain goes away. I’m on about week 3 right now and ready for this to go away. Hearing it’s a 6 month plus healing process on its own.

Any recommendations on getting the shot or not? I’ve also heard the shot isn’t a pleasant experience.

Also, need recs for a doctor in Flowood.
