So I actually looked at my Newks bill today after they tried to auto tip themselves 20% on my app order. There is another fee on my receipt, a 3% service fee. No other explanation.
After my order they sent a text asking for a review. I mentioned the auto tip choice and asked about this service fee. They responded with that is a corporate decision I don't know what it is for.
Average meal $30.00 for 2. Add $.90 to every order. I would rather them be straight about this and just raise their prices.
It is deceptive. I hate hidden fees.
I am going to pay it one way or another, just be straight about how much your services are going to cost.
