Any tips on getting your dog to not scream and shout when you leave the house?
I’ve adopted a five year old beagle from a family about three months ago. She’s great, fat, lazy, smart, poops outside, doesn’t chew on anything, and is the most affectionate dog I’ve ever had.
Only issue is, she cries from the time I leave work until I get home. My neighbors all have my number and I told them to call/text if it gets out of hand, but luckily all of them work the same hours I do basically so it rarely intercedes and it hasn’t been an issue. More concerned with her not giving herself a heart attack while I’m gone. The old owner had a fenced in back yard and he said it helped leaving her there while he was working, but she’s always been like this.
Tips/tricks I’m about to have to find a doggy therapist if not old girl has tear stains on her eyes every evening when I get home.
