Ole Miss held its final camp of the summer recruiting season today, though a few prospects could visit Sunday. A handful of targets visited Friday. I'll have stories and updates as we get them, but here are some nuggets from today, brought to you by Craddock Oil.
Warner Robbins, Ga., ’17 QB Jake Fromm visited Ole Miss today. He’s hoping to make a decision soon. It’s down to Ole Miss, Alabama and South Carolina. He spoke very highly of Ole Miss OC/QB coach Dan Werner and said Shea Patterson’s commitment to Ole Miss wouldn’t hurt the Rebels.
Grove Hill, Ala., LB Jacorrey Morris is committed to South Carolina, but he admitted he could flip to Ole Miss if today’s camp goes well.
Trussville, Ala., RB Jarrion Street is on campus at Ole Miss today. He’s due to visit Missouri next week, but a commitment to the Rebels very soon would shock no one.
Germantown, Miss., ATH Nigel Knott arrived in Oxford late this morning after spending Friday in Starkville. It’s going to be a while, in my opinion, before he gets close to a decision. Knott is giving both in-state schools major consideration, but he has a long and varied list of suitors.
A handful of Ole Miss commitments _ Denzel Mitchell, Tariqious Tisdale, Gabe Angel, Benito Jones _ were on campus either Friday or today. All are solid in their commitments to the Rebels.
Two top prospects from Jackson (Callaway), Miss. _ ’17 LB Aaron Odom and ’18 ATH Malik Heath _ are camping at Ole Miss today. The Rebels are in great shape for both players.
Grenada, Miss., DB/LB C.J. Avery is hoping for an Ole Miss offer. He is a bit undersized (195 pounds), but schools like his quickness. He’s working out in Oxford today.
Wildwood, Mo., OC Chase Behrndt is working out for the Rebels as well. A tackle in high school, Behrndt will move inside at the next level. He’s got a handful of offers, but he’s hoping for one from Ole Miss. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 295 pounds.
Morton, Miss., ’17 LB Freddie Hartz was back on campus this morning. He could move to defensive line at the next level. He continues to maintain he has no favorite.
Euless, Texas, four-star defensive tackle Chris Daniels was on the Ole Miss campus Friday. He’s got multiple offers and doesn’t plan on making a decision before January.
Memphis, Tenn., four-star ’17 running back Cordarrian Richardson visited Ole Miss Friday as well. Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn are the main schools battling for Richardson.
Tampa, Fla., tight end Jacob Mathis also visited Ole Miss Friday. The Rebels are one of 33 programs to offer Mathis, who wants to trim his list of choices to a manageable number prior to his senior season.
Tarpon Springs, Fla., four-star OG Julian Santos also visited Ole Miss on Friday. He recently listed the Rebels among his top 10 choices.

Paramus, N.J., ’18 QB Allen Walters visited Ole Miss Friday and picked up a scholarship offer. He has three years of high school remaining, so I’ll have Jeffrey Wright update his progress daily over the next 1,100 days or so until he can sign a binding letter of intent.
On Friday, Oxford (Miss.) High School participated in the National Select 7-on-7 tournament in Hoover, Ala. Rivals.com put together a list of top performers. DeKaylin Metcalf was No. 2 on that list. His stock continues to rise.
