It’s not often you see a guy taking a drag on a cigarette stop a few seconds to puff on a victory cigar..
Badnarik was one of the last true two way players in the NFL.. He’d played 130+ games at both center and LB in his career.. played 58 of 60 minutes of that 1960 championship game against the Packers. Bednarik made the final tackle in that game, stopping Jim Taylor from scoring the winning TD in the final seconds of what was a 17-13 win by the Eagles..
