Complains about too much politics on the board by bringing more politics to the board…
Well goodness gracious man, if that puddin eating Joe Biden continues on with all of these electric cars and what not we may not have a season. I can't see how you don't see the correlation.

The board is the least of our worries. I'm afraid the country just went to crap in just 24 hours. We are officially a global embarrassment. Iran is even mocking us. Europe is calling us a disgrace and referring to an end of an era as far as America being the "champion of liberty and democracy and the guardian of what’s right in the world".

there are obviously lots of people who enjoy discussing current events, TV shows, restaurants, etc. on the main forum. I think megathreads are good for that and is basically what we have on the first page right now except for one bad post with a click bait title. I get people being annoyed with that post.
We just took a step in that direction, for sure. And as impossible as it sounds, the Biden admin is asking the taliban for help right now (with evacuations).

Nope. The whitehouse is in contact asking for help from them to get our people out. So I'm sure they have it if you need it.
Ehh agree to disagree. Sometimes people want breaks from politics, I like to take my hiatus every now and again so I get it, and you know well that I enjoy a good political thread. Politics, in difference to other OT posts raise people's blood pressure to an extent that a music or food threads just don't. I think it’s pretty fair to leave them separate from the spot people wanna go to see sports stuff.

This post is the epitome of my 12 year old cleaning his room one time and claiming it is cleaned all the time. Them moving 100 post to the square board once a quarter does not make it non-political. God bless @Neal McCready and @Chase Parham on how they choose to run their business, imagine if it was killing business they would throttle it down quicker. Appreciate them letting me try it on the real cheap and finding out I am not COVID skeptical or newsmax Republican enough for this board.

1 A couple usual posters constantly post political threads but it stays pretty low
2 Eventually, that number grows and you get a handful of political threads
3 That then gets out of hand and you end up like we had yesterday where there were 16 different political threads on the first page
4 Those of us who are annoyed by it complain, we can't ignore every single poster on here, that it's making the board not fun
5 The mods finally break down and remove the whole host of threads that are on the first page, post another thread about how if you want to talk politics please do it on the square board, if you don't it'll get moved
6 A select few posters (like Big Yoxy) ignore that request and keep posting
7 Refer to 1

I don’t know @OP. How else would I see videos of Black people fighting and then know I’m not nearly as racist as I had originally thought?
