With NIL we basically have an nfl model and the offseason determines as much as on the field coaching.

We struck out in the portal and recruiting at multiple positions on the offensive side of the ball. Very few, if any, of our additions worked out well.

Smith brought in Parrish who everyone knew was nothing better than a backup. Diggs was never going to play. Amos and Thomas never played. The personnel decisions were awful and there was zero development at RB. Inserting a WR at RB for the first time in a key game was insane.

Garrison: similar. The personnel decisions have been bad for two years. No real development or chemistry with this group. The OL objectively was our weakest unit and cost us a playoff spot. Q was frustrated with our line and it guess what, he was right…they are not good.

Weis: The play calling for two years has been average. We had one game in conference, Arkansas, where our offense lived up to expectations.

Is there one player on offense that improved this season? Did we develop any depth?

When you fail at personnel & talent identification AND you can’t catch them up it’s a combination that can’t be continued.
