First off, let me say that the Jordan family and Realtree have been incredible and extremely generous to Ole Miss and the NIL program.
However, I also want to thank the other corporate sponsors and encourage people to use them as well. I do not think the GC website has updated since the group that joined last year and so I’m sure there are more, but please thank and support those people as well.
I told people last year that the work we did on NIL would pay larger dividends this class than last year and that has been the case. Between Pete Golding , Kelvin Bolden having a full year , Austin Thomas and the rest of the recruiting department we are absolutely killing it.
I heard Dr. Boyce speak this week and he encouraged the group to get on board with NIL. We are extremely blessed to have top down alignment when it comes to our program.
Finally , there is a group of less than 100 who gave significant contributions before the Grove collective was founded and I appreciate them as well. I would estimate between them they gave 2-3 million that allowed us to get the first portal class that consisted of Dart , Tennison , pegues , ivey , Bentley , Coleman , Watkins and Wade. They also gave Q a deal before he played a snap seeing his potential. Without them , we would not be ready to make the run we are preparing for in 2024.
