Here’s my question about the election and current polls

After Harris interviewed yesterday I hopped on Fox News website to see what they were saying and although they said Trump has made up ground the last few weeks I was highly surprised to see them still saying that Harris led by six points in the 7 battleground states even though Trump led by two points nationally. Fox then said that it was possible for Trump to win the popular vote but Harris win the college and therefore the nomination. Is that how this thing is shaping up?

The media’s Trump gaslighting/forcefed condemnation is reminiscent of Ole Miss NCAA investigation

On a much much much smaller scale. But listening to the media types talk about Trump reminds me of all the podcasts coming out about how bad we were cheating when we all knew that EVERYONE cheated.

How did the public respond to being gaslit about Trump? A landslide victory.

How did Ole Miss fans respond to being gaslit about the NCAA investigation? A thriving NIL collective

Why are we talking about the UK game (multiple pod references)?

I get it. UK turned out to be trash and we should have won, on its face. I get it. It came down to this one stupid 4th down play.

I also watched Kentucky drag us through that game all day. They played tough and made it a tough game and their style of play matches up poorly with ours. That game was dicey the whole day.

The game we should be referencing in the discussions about "Well, if they'd beat X then the UGA game wouldn't be so bad blah blah blah" is the LSU game.

I know LSU is better than UK. I know LSU turned out to be a good team. But I've NEVER seen an Ole Miss team beat itself in so many ways and on so many plays as I did in that game. Between the two losses, we gave away the LSU game way more than we gave away the UK game. The LSU loss was terrible and we played like absolute garbage and beat ourselves. That game could have been over in the first half.

Until the second half against OU, this has been a team that can come out with a script and get a lead but doesn't have the intangible "it" factor to take it over the edge and bury anyone. They've now done that for 6 quarters. We will see if they can do it this weekend.

But, the LSU game is the one they let get away because they lacked the ability to put them away when they had control. They had more control of that game than they did the UK game.

OT: Deer Blind Windows

Hello All,

I'm asking the brain trust for some creative window ideas. I have a 4x6 deer blind that fell over from high winds late last season. I was able to repair it to make it functional but my windows are now screwed up. I have three window slots. The front is about 58 inches across and the sides being around 38 inches across. It is important to note that my windows are no longer square after my blind fell.

I want something simple and functional that will mostly protect it from catching wind again.

My quick and dirty idea was to mount some plywood from a hinge and use a drawstring. Any other ideas?
