Thoughts on something suggested on the pod this morning FSU…

First off I do believe FSU was messed over in the playoff. I know some people say you are supposed to get the best 4 teams but I believe Georgia is better than Washington.

With that being said what do y’all think the consequences for FSU be if they said we are not showing up to the bowl and by that I mean no notice just decide to stay at the hotel. I know it will never happen but this will happen again and again until someone says I am tired of getting pissed on.

Neal's Question on Pod This Morning: "Is the SEC Good?"

I have seen the "SEC is down this year" take everywhere. I am obviously a biased OM fan who never thinks we get any respect, but that did have me wondering. If you swapped Missouri and Ole Miss out of the top 12 with LSU and Florida are people still saying the SEC had a down year?

Or when Neal said "Georgia didn't beat anybody" when saying their "biggest" wins were against Missouri and Ole Miss. Again, if we swap Missouri and Ole Miss seasons with LSU and Florida, I imagine all of the sudden the conversation would become Georgia beat two powerhouse 10-2 teams, because we are used to talking about those teams in that way.

My opinion, the SEC was not down this year, we just weren't expecting historically average/below average teams to be the top of the second tier of the league.

O.T Need more scotch recommendations

Based off of the amount of whiskey snobs on this board I figured this would be a good place to find something new. I recently had Bunnahabhain 18, def in my top five, right up there with Balvenie 12 double wood. Any suggestions that fit that profile would be greatly appreciated. I also need something a little less pricey for Christmas gifts for friends. Cheers

Should college football become the prem league of US sports?

First league with promotion and relegation. They have already started separating into the prem league and championship it seems. Could they have a regular season champ and then a cup/national champ where the teams from major conferences get a bye until the later rounds of the playoff? That would give the smaller programs a chance at their own title and get one shot at the big boys for all the glory
