I did some digging around the SEC, regardless of actual recruiting rankings, just to see the relative depth of OL by team. I include rushing yards per team. I prefer rushing yards as a better correlation of OL efficiency.
Alabama (#8): 18 + 1 listed as OL/DL; 999 yards
Auburn: 20; 950 yards
Arkansas: 16; 1020 yards
LSU (#7): 21; 1344 yards
Misstake: 16; 775 yards
OM (#14): 16; 865 yards
A&M (#9): 20; 940 yards
Florida (#11): 20; 703 yards
UGA (#19): 20; 1224 yards
Kentucky: 17; 675 yards
Mizzou: 25; 597 yards
South Carolina: 15; 951 yards
Vandy: 15 + 1 listed as OL/DL; 785 yards
UT: 19; 1125 yards
Avg OL: 18.6
Ranked Teams Avg OL: 19.3
Avg Yardage: 925
Avg Yardage for teams with Above Avg OL #: 985
Avg Yardage for teams with Below Avg OL #: 845
Conclusion: With the exception of outliers (Mizzou has 25 OL but the worst amount of rushing yards), there is a positive correlation between OL depth and rushing yards as well as national rank.
