Ole Miss Football Adds to 2024 Roster

OXFORD, Miss. – With the season set to kick off in less than three months, the Ole Miss football program has added to its 2024 roster, welcoming 21 June additions to campus.

The list of new Rebels joining the team for summer workouts features six Division I scholarship transfers that 247Sports currently ranks as the No. 1 class in the team transfer rankings.

The latest D1 transfers include Rashad Amos (RB), Isaiah Hamilton (CB), Chris Hardie (DE), Izaiah Hartrup (WR), Henry Parrish Jr. (RB) and Domonique Thomas (RB).

Six signees from the 2023-24 high school and JUCO class have also been added to the roster: Katrevrick Banks (CB), Kamron Beavers (DT), Pat Broomfield (CB), Kavion Broussard (OL), William Echoles (DT) and John Wayne Oliver (OL). Nine walk-ons round out Ole Miss' additions: Mike Baker (K), Caleb Blankenship (LS), Lakendrick Clancy (DT), Jack Harper (TE), Jarnorris Hopson (WR), Joe Koury (OL), Justin Kowalak (QB), Jordan Smart (WR) and Micah Stallworth (CB).

Amos, a running back tackle transfer from Miami (Ohio), rushed for 1,075 yards on 210 carries last season for the RedHawks. The 2023 All-Mid-American third team honoree finished top three in the conference in rushing touchdowns (13) and yards per carry (5.1). Amos appeared in all 14 games, with eight starts and helped Miami reach the 11-win plateau for the first time since 2003.

Houston transfer, Hamilton, is coming off a 2023 season in which he started all 12 games at cornerback for the Cougars. The native Houstonian tallied 50 total tackles last season and ranked No. 19 nationally with four interceptions. His 78.1 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus (PFF) ranked seventh-best amongst Big 12 corners. Prior to Houston, Hamilton spent three seasons at Texas Southern where he played in 17 games tallying 51 total tackles and six interceptions.

Hardie, a first-team All-CUSA selection last season for Jacksonville State, registered 61 tackles last season for the Gamecocks on the defensive line, including a conference-leading 16.0 TFLs and 8.5 sacks. The Vincent, Alabama, native was named the CUSA Defensive Lineman of the Year following his breakout 2023 season. Hardie appeared in 48 career games at Jacksonville State since arriving on campus in 2019.

Hartrup arrives in Oxford after spending the last four seasons at Southern Illinois. The 6-foot wideout started all 13 games for the Salukis in 2023, hauling in 51 passes for 706 yards and six touchdowns. Hartrup appeared in 37 career games for SIU and tallied over 1,300 yards receiving and nine TDs during his career.

Parrish, who began his career at Ole Miss and spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons in the Rebel backfield, returns to Oxford after two years at Miami. The Goulds, Florida, native led the Hurricanes for the second straight season, rushing for 625 yards and six TDs last year. Henry earned All-ACC third team accolades in 2022 after tallying 616 yards on the ground. Paris has average 5.3 yards per carry over his four-year collegiate career.

Thomas comes to Oxford after spending the spring at Georgia State. The 200-pound running back transferred to Georgia State from Clemson following the 2023 season. In two years at Clemson, Thomas went from walk-on to scholarship running back, seeing action in 16 games during the 2022 and 2021 season. Prior to Clemson, Thomas started his career at NAIA Union College in Kentucky, earning Mid-South Conference Appalachian Division Offensive Freshman of the Year accolades with 527 rushing yards in just seven games in the spring of 2021.
