I’ve seen the Defense threads since Saturday night, and yeah, 700 yards given up is not to be taken lightly, no matter how great the opposing offense was. If all things played out the way they did, but Gaddie catches the INT and returns it to the house, giving us the 62-49 win, what is everyone’s opinion then? If it wasn’t so Arkansas 2021 like with a ball in the air at the end of the game, are we still as freaked out as we are this week? Daniels made some amazing throws Saturday night, and I’m glad we don’t have to ever play that SOB again. Some of the throws were covered as well as you would hope, he just put them there. He had some scrambles that we took bad angles on as well.

It’s crazy how far our program has come in how we talk about it. While we haven’t achieved it, we have spent the last 3 years with people around the program talking about somewhat legitimate western division contention. I don’t know if we are viewed that way around the sec or national media but keep knocking on the door and it will eventually happen. This is a huge change from back to back 9 win cotton bowl seasons feeling like the absolute ceiling for the program.

Under appreciated Reb. He has come up huge in a few really big games over his career, in spite of being a backup. Defense played bad yesterday but it was good to see some guys step up when it was needed

Interesting to hear Neal and others talk about the potential for things to get tough for Pittman at Arkansas.

To me they are about what I expected. An average 7 win team with some better and worse years thrown in. He seems to be a perfect fit.

But it goes to show - every SEC program expects more than the reality of their situation.

There is no way he is surviving. His team is mid and the recruits he is getting is not going to stop the onslaught of that 2024 schedule.
