Following OM destruction of GA, Clay Travis knows UT-GA is a de facto CFP elimination game for his Vols & he's pissed
Just my opinion here:
W/ loss to GA, TN will fall to 5th in the SEC in the next CFP ranking (& on the outside looking in) & will need either TX, BAMA, OM or GA to lose going forward for them to get back in. OM needs GA to win so we'll not only jump TN but also ride GA's coattail as they ascend following their win over the Vols. If GA beats TN look for them to jump TN & Miami & guess who they'll take with them? The 2 SEC schools that already beat GA, Bama & OM, who'll both stay ahead of GA. In that scenario, OM would go from 11th to 9th (now in host discussion) w/o taking a snap next weekend. Also, good chance that either (or both) IN or BYU lose in the next 2 weeks providing additional opportunities for OM to possibly host. A Notre Dame loss could happen as well.
We win out we're in but there's a real possibility we'll have a CFP game in Oxford in December.
