Here's Thursday's thread, in case you missed it. There's a lot there, including expected high school visitors this weekend. If your questions are in regards to high school prospects, Wednesday's and Thursday's threads will basically answer those questions, at least to the extent of my knowledge.


The transfer portal visits, as I've said, are both fluid and fairly secretive. There are multiple reasons for that, in my opinion. One, to say these guys' phones are blowing up with calls from coaches, agents, media, bloggers, etc., is an understatement. What was true on Thursday might not be true on Friday. Two, programs might not want all visits public because they're trying to keep guys on their own roster from panicking/getting pissed and jumping into the portal themselves. Regardless, I've been led, via sources, to believe action on the transfer portal is imminent. Does that mean today? I don't know. That's possible, but you shouldn't panic if Friday brings no news on that front.

I will be getting kicked out of my house around 2 for a few hours. I'm taking my laptop wherever I go; let's put it that way. But again, that doesn't mean anything is right around the corner.

Lot of posts on the board tonight make me wonder if there should be some special “drive” or fundraising idea going into Signing Day. 🤔🤔🤔

Which is more important? National Signing Day/Portal or Christmas gifts? I can’t decide how I should spend my holiday money. Should I buy Christmas gifts and do the family thing, or donate to our NIL?

Ashamed to admit how much I have gifted over the past 2 months, fingers crossed it pays dividends this time next year. We are on the verge of something special here fellas.

Are taxes being withheld or are the players 1099?

The reason I asked is, do we assume these players are getting CPAs and filing taxes? I can see it where in a couple years, the IRS starts coming after some of these players for tax evasion.
