Clemson went in to Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama by 8. Bama was favored by 8.5

Mizzou beat Pitt by 7, Pitt was favored by 6.5.

GT beat MSU by 8, MSU was favored by 8.5.

Our game wasn't technically an upset because we were favored by 1.5, which I still don't understand, but NC State was picked to win by KenPom by 3.

Syracuse over LSU wasn't an upset, but the line was 1.5 and Cuse beat them by 23. Same thing with Kentucky over Miami.

We really could have used Alabama and MSU taking care of business there - it makes for an easier path to the tournament.

Tues could be rough. They play 10 and press full court entire game. Very quick. Both them and BYU are undefeated. NC St had 6 steals in first 6 minutes. Trap often and crash boards. BYU good shooters. Two really good teams.

... passed away today at the age of 83. I'm sure many of you knew Don from the QB Club meetings and just being around Ole Miss for decades. He was a manager on the 1958-1962 Ole Miss football teams and often cracked me up with his passion and debates about those years. When I first started covering Ole Miss for the DM, Don was incredibly helpful and nice to me, and I always remember and appreciate it. We affectionately called him Pens because he had 10-15 different color pens out while he kept a scorebook in the Swayze Field press box. Each color denoted a different thing on the scorebook. He was a friendly face when I needed it, and he has been kind to me in every interaction since then. Jeff Roberson passed the news to me this morning, and it's been on my mind a lot today. A genuinely kind and good person.
