This means that there are 7 of the 13 committee members that if you put them in front of a chalkboard, and you told them “you’re in the huddle with 11 personnel, and you know that the defense is going to have 6 in the box and they’re in cover 3. Now draw out your 3 favorite running plays”, they wouldn’t have a clue. Not a clue. And they’re the ones making the choices here. So stupid. A whole bunch of people that know their way around the ticket office, but have no idea where the 5 tech lines up. That is so NCAA.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the SEC doesn’t have a single win over a team currently ranked in the Top 25.

Still early, but not a great non-con showing so far…

A UL win over FSU results in 2 ACC teams (UL getting the automatic bid as ACC champs regardless of their ranking & FSU getting an at large bid) in NY6 bowls & thus requires OM to get to #10 in the CFP rankings next week. That's the same scenario as FSU winning (and assuming they hold on to #4 in CFP) and UL or NC. St. being the next highest ranked ACC team and contractually getting the Orange bowl. Either way, OM still has to get to #10.

We have to figure out a way to get more people in the pavilion on week nights. Use this thread to give some ideas of what you’d like to see done to help. Besides winning of course.

In my opinion you have to focus on the area 1hr from Oxford. One thing that would help talk these people into coming is if it didn’t take 30mins plus to get off campus after the game. The Hill Dr/Chucky Mullens round about needs to operate like football season as does the intersection at Hwy 6/Chucky Mullens. Also they need to control the red light at Hwy6/jackson Ave and Hwy6/Thacker to keep traffic flowing west longer. I think having people not stuck in traffic at 10pm would help draw people from an hour drive of Oxford.

To USC is the rumor. He wanted 1 mil and state wasnt gonna pay that.

That is where a lot of games are won in the three positions. You can take a decent running back and he can run behind a good OL. Then center the rest of your roster around them.

Ignore everything that happens between the end of the regular season and the start of the next season. Just tune out, & see what happens come September.
