A Reb’s guide to cheering on Saturday

Below are the games that are important for our ranking and Missouri’s.

11:00 am - ULM @ Ole Miss. Just win, baby.

11:00 am - Tulane -8.5 @ FAU. Tulane needs to keep winning for us to have another top 25 win.

2:30 pm - UGA -10 @ UT. Tennessee needs to lose bigly to make Missouri’s win look worse.

6 pm - KSU -10 @ Kansas. Less likely to happen but would remove a ranked win from Missouri. Rock Chalk, Jayhawk, KU!

6:30 pm - Florida @ Mizzou -11. Easiest would be for Missouri to go ahead and lose.

7 pm - Georgia Southern @ LSU -32. Cake walk, Geaux Tigahs.

Other games that could help us with a reasonable spread (~7):

2:30 Illinois @ Iowa -3. Big 10 teams with 2 losses is just no good. Luke Altmeyer will be back and hopefully has the game of his life.

6:30 Washington @ Oregon State -1. Simple here, OSU is ahead of us. Probably the game of the day. Let’s go Huskies!

7:00 pm Texas -7.5 @ Iowa State. I’m not sure if we would jump 2 loss Texas but I’d sure like to see what the committee would say.

Back in The Tad was pretty cool.

Decent crowd on a Friday night that was into the game. I haven’t been to a game at the Pavilion, but the Tad Pad can still get pretty loud. I love that place. It was in pretty good shape while also still being a shithole.

I really enjoy the attitude of this team. They’re not very good — they don’t shoot well, they aren’t sudden enough to attack the basket, and they’re just overall not athletic enough. But they play their asses off. They stay positive throughout the game. The bench is really engaged, cheering each other and leading the cheers with the fans. The staff looks like they’re constantly encouraging and not berating, except when absolutely necessary.

Great event and can’t wait until the team is even better for it next year.
