Dude knows what it takes to have a winning program. Winning environments = winning product and attracting winning recruits.

Same with football, the fans need to give Beard their all when they are in that arena because that man deserves it. He can lead us to water but he can’t make us drink. The program is in phenomenal hands and while the wins won’t be there to show it this year, I’m excited for the build.

One couple, very nice but very liberal (we try not to talk politics socially so I think they are making some assumptions on what our beliefs are) said that Tennessee is exploring the idea of refusing Federal education $ along with Florida, Texas, and other states.
The other interesting thing is that there is a growing number of corporate CEO’s pulling up stakes in NYC and moving to Miami. One guy, Ben Simmons us saying Miami will be the financial capital of the country in 5-10 years as companies flee NYC and San Francisco Bay Area.

This is eerie. 😳

Anyone live there now or recently?

Got a job offer (promotion and decent raise) but would have to relocate from Madison to Colorado Springs. Married, 3 kids under 8. What’s the family life like there? Seems to have good schools within the city. Housing is expensive but I think we will manage.

Hold ups are moving away from family (all of our family live in central MS).
Schools. Our 7 year old is at Madison Crossing in 2nd grade, but this is his second school already. Kindergarten was in Oxford.

Caveat is we will have to move with my job in a year or so anyway. Just don’t know where yet. Also don’t know if it will be a promotion, or if it will be closer to home.

Thoughts?

1. Can’t wait for the awesome post game picture with the students from the Tad Pad.

2. Going into the last timeout, Chris beard was actively hyping Nunez(?) up. I didn’t see that during the Davis era.

3. This team looks sooo loose tonight. They’re getting used to the “freedom” Chris Beard gives them.

He is an ELITE coach (probably the best in school history) and this is the only thing that continues to bother me:

Based off of Neal's/Chase's assessment of his involvement with boosters, why doesn't he just kiss their ass more? He complains about NIL and wants the elite talent, so why doesn't he take the big money people out on his boat or play in someone's member guest? Trying to squeeze as much NIL as he can seems the be the only way he can get those blue chips. The hype around his program is awesome, but focusing on the big money and personal relationships seems to be the only way our recruiting takes another step. He's the man and I hope he never leaves, but IMO he is like Dan Mullen in that he just wants to coach and not sell his program (besides social media). He just expects to be handed the elite job/NIL that comes with it.

Personally im 100% happy with where things are at, it's just my only gripe when he passive aggressively compares our talent.

does the lighting not seem better tonight? Not sure if it is the lights or the floor itself but there definitely seems to be a difference.

We heard for 2 weeks that this wasn’t being streamed or televised. I don’t necessarily blame Neal or chase, but the school really b-fed him today.

I’m going to limit my posts on here , I like the reporting on here but it’s become that I have had several personal attacks from people who don’t know me and it’s become hurtful. I don’t deserve this , you have no right to judge me. ! When I first found this site it was in the 90’s and joined the site in the early 2000’s and we were family even if we posted something absurd but it seems it’s become a clique .I’m planning on staying and maybe posting every once in a while with careful posts but from now on I’m basically a reader. Flame away!

Makes for a way louder environment

I’m basically a novice on bourbon. From what I drink, I like Buffalo Trace as my staple under $40 bottle. If I can find it I like Wellers special reserve for a good price. What other bourbons are similar? Obviously I prefer a more wheated bourbon and I’m not a rye guy. I’ve read Larceny is good but I’ve never tried it. Bourbon people please help!
