On incredibly strong sourcing Arnett’s fate at MSU was sealed when…

He told his team after the Kentucky game, and I’m paraphrasing here “Alright guys let’s throw this one in the trash and go win TWO of the next THREE.”

Will Rogers jumped up and said “F*ck that coach! We gotta win 3 out of the next 3!” and several upperclassmen joined him in ripping Arnett a new one. Arnett supposedly apologized and told them they were right and did some groveling but the team was done with him at that moment and the AD had no other choice. I’m sure many of you will say who GAF but considering where this info came from I found it pretty interesting and funny.

NY6 thought

As much as I would love to see us go to a Ny6 bowl, it is much more important to get a bowl win. Playing Iowa in the Citrus gives us the best chance and we really need that for momentum going in the offseason. I would still be ecstatic if we make one but I doubt we could beat the likes of Oregon, Texas or Washington with our defense. Just my thoughts and outlook on it

FOOTBALL: On Kiffin's comment about Dart returning...

Jaxson was intentional with telling people he's coming back so it can maximize Ole Miss' possibilities in the portal and also the possibility of keeping players for another season who are already on the roster. Obviously having him help recruit and knowingly coming back can assist with bringing in skill players to pair with him and really any position because of the likelihood Ole Miss is in the playoff conversation next season. It's Dart's team, and he's doing what he can to set up 2024 in the best shape possible.

Hat tip to @Brian Rippee for the majority of the reporting to provide some. context. He's a working man, so I'm positing and giving him credit.

Another post made me think about it.

I have a pocket am/fm radio that I take to games so I can listen to the radio broadcast. im not talking about the old Archie Manning headphones, just a tiny radio that fits in my pocket. I enjoy the live games much better that way

Technically, I guess you could do this with a phone with streaming audio, but the delay would make it less useful.

I’m curious how many other people do this

NIL Impact

I’m curious if any of you have thoughts here. I’m debating with some friends programs that have been impacted the most by NIL at the top end of the sport. Curious if you have any examples. I believe Clemson to be one apart from Dabo’s unwillingness to use it.
