Logan Diggs Timeline

Very unscientific comparison here, but…

Todd Gurley tore his ACL on 11/15/14 of his senior year. He took his first 7 NFL carries on 9/27/15 and took 21 and 30 carries the next two weeks. Timeline from injury to his first carry was 316 days.

Diggs was injured on 1/1/24. If he follows Gurley’s timeline, we could expect him to be back in Week 11 vs Georgia on 11/9/24. That would be 313 days from injury. More likely, I think they’d keep him out until the Egg Bowl and give him an extra 2 weeks to recover.

TLDR: don’t expect much from Diggs this year until late/post season.

Hypothetical playoff destination

If y'all had your pick (outside of hosting), where would you want to play if we win out? I'm leaning toward south bend d/t proximity to Chicago, but Bloomington would be fun as well.

@HooReb @Indiana Rebel is there a better steak in indy than st. Elmo? That's my favorite so far. Will be a mandatory trip if we go to Bloomington.

Texas strength of schedule question

Why does it rank so low?

We play 6 common sec opponents
Ark
Miss state
Oklahoma
Georgia
Kentucky
Florida

They played vandy. We played S carolina
They play aTm. We played LSU

They played two decent non conference games.
Colorado state
Michigan

Not all that different from ours, but we are 33 spots higher going into this weekend. Does home/away play into the ranking? I’m sure it does. But that’s got to be a driver as any “tough” games were at home
