While this appears to be far and away our best haul, Kiffin has been doing this before it was cool. Him and Mel Tucker essentially laid out the blueprint for it in 2021.

Ole Miss brings 15+ kids from the portal in every year. If these kids were getting lied to, misled, or not promised the money they were offered, it would've gotten out by now from the players. Ask Florida what happens when you promise a kid money and then don't pay. Yet, at Ole Miss, you haven't heard a word of that from anyone other than people that are extremely distraught that Ole Miss is again upsetting the apple cart in a huge way. Much of that is from a certain fanbase. But a lot of that is from those that sees the tide turning. It's easy to spot.

Just read that he's entered into a LIV qualifier in Abu Dhabi next weekend trying to earn a spot onto the LIV Golf Tour. I'll be rooting for him. Dude has had a rough time earning money since winning the NCAA championship. I hope like hell he gets one of the 3 spots available. Other notable players trying as well to latch on to LIV are Dufner, Kyle Stanley, Chris Stroud, Kevin Chappell, Jeff Overton, and Victor Dubuisson.

In the day of NIL, what advantages does the scholarship player have over the walk on? For example, Decamerion Richardson. If we pay him the amount that a scholarship would cover, and not count him against our 85 limit why not do that with our portal guys? I don't know all the rules there, what am I missing on scholarship vs walk on as can do's and can not do's?

what he’s doing is unprecedented for a reason. He is the only coach in America that brings this level of excitement, enthusiasm, national exposure, and success to this program. He IS the program. He IS bigger than OM just like Saban is bigger than Bama. Both are irreplaceable. There’s going to be a huge drop off in everything I listed above when they both leave. That’s why OM does not have an option if another school makes a ridiculous money offer other than matching it. Anything short of that is a crime.
